Join us for a one-hour webinar as Sarah Gormley(Community Health Worker with Atlanta Birth Center) facilitates a healthcare professional-focused workshop on trauma-informed care. The webinar’s objectives are the following:
1. Define trauma and trauma-informed care in the perinatal context
2. Understand effects of trauma on the physiological process of childbirth
3. Recognize birth-specific common reactions to trauma
4. List strategies for integrating trauma-informed care into clinical practice
Those who attend and complete post-webinar evaluation are eligible for a 1 hour CE credit.
