ATLANTA, GEORGIA - Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia (HMHBGA) mourns the passing of one of its esteemed founders and former board member, Pat Besson Swan, who transitioned this past week.

Pat's legacy of dedication to our organization and her lifelong commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of women, birthing people, and children resonate deeply within our community.

"Pat's contributions to HMHBGA are limitless, and her legacy will continue to guide us in our mission to improve maternal and infant health in the state of Georgia," said Rachel Powell, Board President of HMHBGA. "We are profoundly grateful for her leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our organization."
