Virtual Doula Toolkit
This toolkit is meant to provide doulas with the tools needed to provide virtual doula services to clients. Given that the current recommendations suggest that we practice social distancing, and that hospitals are limiting the number of individuals who may be present at birth during this pandemic, virtual doula services are a way to provide support and guidance to families without jeopardizing health and safety.
Black Infant Health Toolkit
The toolkit is a short, accessible document listing community resources and information on how to improve health outcomes for Black infants in Georgia.
An Evidence Informed Toolkit for Comprehensive Prenatal Education (2019)
The purpose of this toolkit is to fill the gaps in prenatal education identified by the report related to cesarean sections, oral health, health insurance literacy, HIV & STI prevention, postpartum care, and cultural competency. As identified in our 2019 report, prenatal educators may not feel comfortable or lack the information needed to discuss these topics with clients.
Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia is dedicated to providing our partners and advocates across the State with timely and relevant data to identify key concerns in maternal and infant health, as well as collaborative solutions for addressing them. Our State of the State Reports summarize the known data and evidence regarding maternal and infant health indicators in the state of Georgia.
2019 State of the State Report
Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia (HMHBGA) is excited to announce the release of the 2019 State of the State: Maternal and Infant Health in Georgia Report.
