Bridging the Gap With A Community Doula Program: The Emory Decatur Labor Support Volunteers (EDLSV)

Join us for a one-hour webinar in collaboration with the Emory Decatur Labor Support Volunteers as Rose L. Horton (MSM, RN, NEA-BC), Kate Woeber, Tilly Field, and Sarah Nasatir-Hilty discuss their community doula program.

Participants will provide evidence of increased knowledge and understanding of community doula programs, and how to incorporate doulas in their Labor & Delivery programs. Participants will also be able to identify ways to incorporate other forms of continuous emotional support for mothers and birth-givers. Participants will also develop knowledge in how doulas improve maternal health equity, especially for black mothers and mothers of color.

Those who attend and complete post-webinar evaluation are eligible for a 1 hour CE credit.
