Fowzio Jama

Fowzio graduated from Emory University and since completing her graduate studies, she has led a variety of maternal and infant health community-based projects. Her projects include expanding access to maternal oral healthcare services and researching barriers to care for rural birth givers. Fowzio also serves as a member of the Oral Health Equity Partner Workgroup and is passionate about improving maternal and infant health outcomes in the state of Georgia through comprehensive data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
