Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia Announces New Executive Director

June 11, 2024 – ATLANTA, GEORGIA – Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia (HMHBGA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Kimberly Seals as the organization’s new Executive Director. Kimberly will officially begin her role on July 16, 2024.

Kimberly Seals brings a wealth of experience in maternal and child health, having dedicated over 20 years to improving health outcomes for mothers and babies. Her leadership and passion for health equity make her an exceptional fit for HMHBGA's mission to improve access to healthcare for Georgia’s mothers and babies through advocacy, education, and community programs.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kimberly Seals to HMHBGA. Her extensive experience, strategic leadership, and commitment to maternal and child health will be invaluable as we continue to advocate for and support the health and well-being of families across Georgia,” said Rachel Powell, Board President. “As we celebrate 50 years this year, Kimberly’s professional background and experience are a dynamic combination needed to continue supporting HMHBGA in this monumental year and future years to come."

In her previous roles, Kimberly has successfully led numerous initiatives aimed at reducing maternal and infant mortality, improving prenatal care, and supporting community-based health programs. She is known for her strategic vision, collaborative approach, and dedication to empowering communities.
